PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Permatex Gasket Remover is an aerosol product designed to

remove gaskets and gasket residue from any type of metal

housing. The product will also remove chemical formed-in-

place gaskets.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

● Removes baked-on gaskets and gasket cements

● Removes formed-in-place gaskets

● Removes gaskets from aluminum without scraping

● Removes gaskets from from small, difficult to reach areas

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1.Provide adequate ventilation

2.Protect painted and non-metal surfaces from overspray.

   The product will remove paint.

3.Shake can well. Note:The product does not require a ball

   agitator. For best results, the aerosol can should be at room

   temperature before spraying.

4.Holding can 8 to 10 inches from the surface to be cleaned,

   press the nozzle and spray the product onto the old gasket.

5.Allow to set 5 to 10 minutes. Remove dissolved gasket with

   a putty knife. Repeat if required.

For Cleanup

1.Turn can upside-down and spray to clear nozzle.

2.Clean hands with Permatex brand hand cleaners.

and/ or oxygen rich system.

STORAGE

Products shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry location in

unopened containers at a temperature between 8 to 28 ℃

(46 to 82℉)unless otherwise labeled. Optimal storage is

at the lower half of this temperature range.
